The Divine Mercy devotion is an approved devotion that was revealed to Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska before WW2 began. This devotion encourages us to trust in God’s infinite mercy and be merciful to others. This devotion includes praying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, the Divine Mercy novena, venerating the Divine Mercy image, celebrating Divine Mercy Sunday, and praying at the 3 o’clock hour in memory of Christ’s passion and death.

St. Faustina’s prayer to be merciful begins with: “Help me, O Lord, that my eyes may be merciful.” This mercy prayer asks God for the grace to be merciful.

Pray the 3 o’clock prayer for the Divine Mercy that Jesus asked us to pray, contemplating Jesus’ hour of death as we beg mercy, especially for sinners.

This prayer by St. Faustina asks God to help you have a big heart for others, a merciful heart for those in need, a heart like Jesus.

The Lord Jesus Christ gave St. Faustina Kowalska a beautiful gift and through her obedience to Him she gave a message of God’s mercy to the world. Jesus revealed to Saint Faustina the way of Christian perfection based on trust in God having mercy on our neighbors.

The Chaplet of the Divine Mercy is prayed on a regular set of rosary beads. It begins with two prayers from the Diary of Saint Faustina.
