Jesus’ prepares for death after the betrayal of Judas with the Last Supper, and this preparation brings forth new life in the Church.

Lord Jesus Christ, Let me never betray you or deny you in life. May I always love and serve you according to your will for me.

Believing in Jesus as Mary Magdalene did while pouring precious nard on his feet. I too am anointing him with my love as I contemplate his Passion and death.

Jesus you will offer your life to save us. After you have done many signs they have decided to kill you in order to save a nation.

Rescue me Lord from the powerful snares of the wicked. I pray to you in distress. My rock, my shield, and my stronghold, help me.

Help me keep your word, Lord. You made a covenant with your people and promised we will never see death, or taste it if we keep your word.

I will remain in your word, Lord. You promise that when I do this I will know the truth and it will set me free.

Faith in Jesus Christ is never doubting in my impossible situation but hoping against hope that God will answer my prayer and come to my aid.

Jesus you love them. Lord, let me love them too and not throw stones using harsh words and deliberate actions to condemn them. Let me love them like Christ.

God, you will preserve me from my enemies so I entrust myself to you. My shield and my deliverer, teach me humility and self-abasement.
