Prayer for Vocations in Adoration
Prayer for vocations are needed. Our prayers offer graces to young men who are discerning a vocation, and the most efficacious way to pray for vocations to the priesthood are in the adoration chapel before the Blessed Sacrament.
[Jesus prays to the Father for his disciples: ] "I passed your word on to them, and the world hated them, because they belong to the world no more than I belong to the world. I am not asking you to remove them from the world, but to protect them from the Evil One. They do not belong to the world any more than I belong to the world. Consecrate them in the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world, and for their sake I consecrate myself so that they too may be consecrated in truth. I pray not only for these but also for those who through their teaching will come to believe in me."

Father in Heaven,
We give you thanks for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ, into the world to be our Lord, Savior and High Priest. We believe that, in the power of the Holy Spirit, Jesus won for us the gift of eternal life by His Sacrifice on the Cross. We believe that Jesus renews this Sacrifice in the Holy Eucharist, through the ministry of His priests. Father, we earnestly beseech you to raise up holy priests in your Church.
Grant young men the strength to accept generously the call to the priesthood. May they joyfully give their lives so that all your people can receive your holy Word and Sacraments, especially the Holy Eucharist, the great gift of the Body and Blood of your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord, Savior and High Priest, in whose name we make our prayer.
AMEN.

I have a card with a gold and white embossed chalice and host and this prayer published by Archbishop’s Committee For Eucharistic Renewal – St Louis, MO; however, I cannot find these and want to purchase these. Hi K! This website is not monetized, but eventually we may add prayer cards for people to buy. I also tried to do a search for this prayer and could not find any cards for sale. It’s Cardinal Justin Rigali; I think you mistyped his name “Rivals”. Have you tried contacting the Archdiocese of St. Louis, MO and asking if they could print more? I imagine they did a single print for the Eucharistic Revival and when their stock ran out they did not print more. If they can’t reprint them, let us know. We have designed a couple of PDF prayer cards in the past for website visitors. They print them out at home or make multiple copies at a local printer to use in their parishes.
