The Unity Prayer for families through the flame of love has been given to the world from Elizabeth Kindlemann of Hungary. We are fighting a spiritual battle like no other in the history of mankind. This final battle is being waged against the family and the church.
The Unity Prayer for families is a special devotion to bring us together and keep us together. Elizabeth Kindlemann was a wife, mother, and mystic who was asked by Jesus to keep a diary. Our Lord asked her to surrender her will for a mission that he would give her, a mission to bring the Unity Prayer for families to the world.
From the Diary of Elizabeth Kindlemann
“Prior to receiving messages from Jesus and the Virgin Mary, I received the following inspiration: ‘You must be selfless, for we will entrust you with a great mission, and you will be up to the task. However, this is only possible if you remain totally selfless, renouncing yourself. That mission can be bestowed upon you only if you also want it out of your free will.”
Unity Prayer Spreads the Effect of Grace
When we pray and ask for grace, we should also ask for the spread of the effect of grace upon not only our families, but also the whole world. This is a counter-action to the spread of the effect of evil upon our families and the world. Just as the sin of one has a ripple effect on others in the family, the community, our nation, and the world, so does grace have a ripple effect.
We are called as the faithful to help affect our culture for Christ by uniting our hearts in unison with His Sacred Heart through the intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, who by her intercession offers us many graces. The flame of love is Jesus Christ Himself. We must unite our hearts with Our Lord’s and pray for the flame of love, which is like a new Pentecost.
Jesus said: "I have come to cast fire to the earth, and how I wish it were kindled already."

My Adorable Jesus,
May our feet journey together. May our hands gather in unity. May our hearts beat in unison. May our souls be in harmony. May our thoughts be as one. May our ears listen to the silence together. May our glances profoundly penetrate each other. May our lips pray together to gain mercy from the Eternal Father, for the whole world. Oh Blessed Lady, Spread the effect of grace, of the flame of love, over all of humanity.

The Flame of Love Receives Apostolic Blessing
Cardinal and Archbishop Péter Erdő of Esztergom-Budapest, Primate of Hungary, established a commission to study The Spiritual Diary of Elizabeth Kindelmann after various recognitions were given by local bishops around the world. In 2009, the cardinal gave the Imprimatur to Kindelmann’s Spiritual Diary and recognized Elizabeth’s mystical locutions and writings as authentic, a “gift to the Church,” and gave his episcopal approval of the Flame of Love movement.
On June 19, 2013 the Vatican released the following statement: “His Holiness, Pope Francis, invoking the protection of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, is pleased to impart his Apostolic Blessing, which he extends to the Movement of “The Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.”
