Heaven Teaches Five Fatima Prayers

We are encouraged by Our Lady of the Rosary to pray for souls. The Virgin Mary first appeared on May 13, 1917, when she was sent from Heaven in a miracle that was well documented. Our Lady of the Rosary was the name she called herself, but the children she appeared to recognized her as the Blessed Virgin Mary, In total, she appeared to them six times, and in her final appearance there was an amazing miracle of the sun that was witnessed by thousands of spectators, including many skeptics who later converted.

In the midst of World War I, Our Lady of the Rosary appeared to three shepherd children in Fatima, Portugal with an urgent message for the whole world to pray to God for the conversion of sinners.

Between May and October the Virgin Mary of Fatima appeared six times. She told the children that we must pray to God for peace in the world and we must also make sacrifices for the conversion of sinners. Our Lady of Fatima taught prayers to the children in her visits.  Prior to her initial appearance on May 13, 1917, an angel of God was  sent to teach the children, Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta, a special prayer to pray to God.

“You have seen Hell, where the souls of poor sinners go. To save future souls God wishes to establish in the world the devotion to My Immaculate Heart. If people do what I tell you, many souls will be saved. If my requests are granted, Russia will be converted and there will be peace. If not, she will scatter her errors throughout the world, provoking wars and persecution of the Church. The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer, and various nations will be destroyed. But in the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me. Russia will be converted, and a certain period of peace will be granted to the world.”

Pray to God these Five Fatima Prayers

Before Our Lady of Fatima came from Heaven to visit the three shepherd children, the Angel of Peace was sent from Heaven to visit them three times. The angel prepared the children to receive Mary the Mother of Jesus. Our Lady came, in a miracle sent from Heaven, to urge the children to help save mankind from sin through their prayer to God. Mary showed the children they must pray to God these 5 prayers, and sacrifice for the sins of the world as much as possible.

The Pardon Prayer

The Angel of Peace taught the children this prayer to God:

My God, I believe, I adore, I hope and I love Thee! I ask pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not hope and do not love Thee.

The Angel's Prayer

The Angel of Peace prayed this prayer in front of the children while Worshiping the Eucharist:

Most Holy Trinity – Father, Son and Holy Spirit- I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges, and indifferences whereby He is offended. And through the infinite merits of His Most Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg of Thee the conversion of poor sinners.

The Eucharistic Prayer

On May 13, 1917, while Our Lady of Fatima was appearing in a miracle from Heaven, the children found themselves “moved by an interior impulse,” as Lucia later told, to say the following prayer together:

Most Holy Trinity, I adore Thee! My God, my God, I love Thee in the Most Blessed Sacrament.

The Sacrifice Prayer

The Blessed Mother taught the children to offer all their personal sacrifices to God by praying:

Oh my Jesus, I offer this for love of Thee, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

The Fatima Prayer to Jesus
(Rosary Decade)

The Blessed Mother stressed the critical importance of praying the rosary daily for the conversion of sinners and for peace in the world. She asked that the following prayer be recited at the end of each rosary decade:

Oh My Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell, lead all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need of Thy mercy.
