A Deeper Way to Pray with Scripture
If you’ve ever wanted to pray with Scripture but weren’t sure how to begin, this is the place to start. Each series on this page walks you through a season or theme, one day at a time, using a contemplative approach rooted in the ancient practice of Lectio Divina — praying slowly with God’s Word rather than simply reading it.
You don’t need to master a formal method before you begin. Our approach draws loosely on seven traditional movements — a quiet pause, prayerful reading, reflection, dialogue with God, rest in His presence, a response of action, and gratitude — but these are a guide, not a checklist. You’re never expected to complete every step every time, and you’re not meant to force the Holy Spirit into your own plan for the hour. He leads the prayer; you simply show up and follow.
Below you’ll find our current meditation series, each built around a specific season or theme so you can walk through it at whatever pace fits your life. Lent and Advent series follow the Church’s liturgical calendar and daily Mass readings, while the Virtue series offers a steady, year-round rhythm for growing in holiness, one virtue at a time.
Pick whichever series matches where you are right now, and begin.
